Staying safe
Nothing moves without your wallet
Section titled “Nothing moves without your wallet”PackSwap never holds your tokens. Every approval and every swap is a transaction you confirm in your wallet. If you don’t confirm, nothing happens.
PackSwap checks every swap before you sign
Section titled “PackSwap checks every swap before you sign”Before your wallet is asked to confirm anything, the app checks that the transaction is exactly the swap you chose:
- It goes to the PackSwap router, and nowhere else.
- It sells the tokens and amount you chose.
- It pays you, at least the Minimum received you saw.
If anything doesn’t match, PackSwap refuses to send it.
Approvals
Section titled “Approvals”The first time you sell a token, your wallet asks you to approve it. This lets the PackSwap router move that token for your swaps.
- PackSwap asks for an approval with no limit, so you only approve each token once.
- Your wallet may let you set a lower limit instead. If a later swap needs more, you’ll be asked again.
- Only approve the PackSwap router, and only from packswap.xyz.
Tokens not on PackSwap’s list
Section titled “Tokens not on PackSwap’s list”Tokens on PackSwap’s list show a verified badge. You can also paste any token’s address to find it, but then you’ll see Not on PackSwap’s list and Import at your own risk.
Anyone can create a token with any name, including a copy of a real one. Before you buy an imported token, check its address with the project itself. See Import a token.
